The F1 offers an amazing 99.9% filter efficiency rating against particles as small as 0.1 micron. To put this in perspective, wood smoke particles are typically > 0.2 micron. The filter outer layer is capable of trapping particulates down to .1 micron and inner layer of active carbon is effective against fumes, odors, smoke and organic chemicals.

Product Description:
The RZ Mask F1 Standard Filter Active Carbon is the perfect replacement filter for your RZ M2 Mask! The F1 filter consists of two filter layers, the outer particulate filter and the internal active carbon element. The outer layer is capable of trapping particulates down to .1 micron in size, while the inner layer, known as the Active Carbon element is effective towards fumes and odors. Combining the two layers allows this filter to be 99.9% effective against particulates, dust, air particles, and pollution/allergens. Note:
The life expectancy of the RZ Filter depends on many variables, such as; particulate exposure density, particulate exposure duration and user breathing rate. Below are general guidelines, the user will have the final call given your exposure.
20-30+ hours of continuous use in heavy dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition etc.
30-40+ hours of continuous use in light dust exposure to things such as; grain bins, off-roading, construction/demolition etc.
50-60+ hours of continuous use when protecting against harmful particulate, contaminants, bacteria, allergens, pollutants, odors etc.
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take a picture first with you phone in case you need to refer to it later.
2. Unscrew each valve by turning them counter clockwise from inside of the mask. Use the plastic tool attached to the storage bag if needed.
3. Remove the old filter and position the new filter in its place.
4. Insert the inside ring first through the filter material, then through the mask outer shell. Place the outside cap over the protruding inside ring and twist the inside ring firmly clockwise until it locks into place.
5. Take a minute to check the valve and filter to ensure its installed correctly.
