Offered for your consideration is a beautiful vintage original map showing a portion of the East Village, bounded by Clinton Street and Avenue B to the west, Columbia Street and Avenue D to the east, East 8th Street to the north and Stanton Street to the south. On the reverse is a map showing a portion of the East Village neighborhood adjacent to the east, bounded by Columbia Street and Avenue D to the west, the Harlem River to the east, East 8th Street to the north, and Stanton Street to the south, as shown in the last 5 pictures. This vintage 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" map is in VERY GOOD condition with beautiful hand-coloring, light tone, soil, and edge wear as shown in pictures, from the Atlas of New York City, Borough of Manhattan, published in 1916 by G.W. Bromley, also known as the Land Atlas.
