Powertrack Insert for Haldex first generation with gasket
Version - push-in with Seeger ring
Insert does not change the method of connecting the controller via the Haldex clutch. The drive is still connected when the controller receives a signal from sensors to power-up. However, it allows for greater pressure through the controller and an immediate gearing down the power to the rear axle, with a power distribution ratio 50/50 (front/rear). Powertrack Insert changes the tune of the hydraulic system to increase the power delivered to the Haldex clutch instantly. The result is an instant response of the rear traction with a power distribution of 50/50.
Please ensure you check which insert your Haldex is fitted with. There are two of them:
with 17 mm HEX head commonly used till 2001 (please see our other listings);
push-in with Seeger ring commonly used after 2001 (this listing).

APPLICATION
This will fit vehicles fitted with the first generation Haldex:
AUDI Quattro: A3, S3, TT
Volkswagen 4-motion : Golf, Bora, Sharan, Beetle, Transporter
SKODA: Octavia 4x4
SEAT 4-motion: Alhambra, Leon, Toledo
Mounting method:
Unscrew the controller (ECU) from the clutch.
Remove the Seeger ring.
Remove the standard insert.
Push in the new sport insert.
Secure the insert with Seeger rings.
Install the controller.
When replacing the insert we recommend using a new gasket between the controller and the unit.
