    post-Vietnam Era US Military Aid OD Green Canvas Shotgun Ammunition Pouch - Marked: FAES - El Salvador Armed Forces - Nice Condition
    Up for Auction is a post-Vietnam Era US Miltiary Aid OD Green Canvas Shotgun Ammunition Pouch.  The Pouch is used, please see photo's for condition.  No rips or tears, no fraying, some fading of color.  It is FAES for the El Salvador Armed Forces.  The pouch will hold twelve 12 GA shotshells.  These are the same design used by the US Army.
    NOTE:  On multiple quantity listings, the item in the photo is a representative sample of the inventory that is available,  it is NOT the exact item you will receive.
    The
    Shotgun
    Ammunition Case was made from olive drab cotton duck and had compartments for twelve cartridges. It featured two belt loops on the back and the pouch flap was closed with two lift-the-dot fasteners. Despite its limited ammunition capacity, the shotgun's firepower and wide shot spread meant that is was highly valued as a close quarters combat weapon by some soldiers in Vietnam.
    This is a post-Vietnam Era accessory that is often overlooked or forgotten about in most Vietnam Era Collections.
