drawer kick (DK) port of a Star or Star-compatible
receipt printer (see the third photo for an example)
to a printer-driven POS-X cash drawer, such as the

Compatible printers should include Star or other Star-compatible printers with a drawer kick port. When the printer prints it sends a signal down this cable to kick the drawer open.

The EVO-CD-STA part number shown in the photos is what will ship, but this is an alternate part number for all the following part numbers in the list. We offer free returns if you have an issue.

This cable is 48 inches long. It has a 6-pin RJ12 male jacks on both ends, which are also know as (6P6C) for 6-pin, 6 conductor / wire.
Note: This 6-pin configuration is the same size as the common RJ11 end it just has 6 pins / wires instead of 4.
