OPF goggles are a means of individual protection of the organs of vision. Designed to protect the eyes from the penetration of microparticles of different origin, as well as to reduce the duration of temporary blinding by light radiation of a nuclear explosion. Can be used to protect eyes when driving vehicles with an open seat (snowmobiles, motorcycles, quad bikes, etc.), as well as to protect against viral particles spread by the airborne path.
Glasses are equipped with double photochromic lenses-filters transmitting light of normal intensity, but instantly darken when exposed to the flash of a nuclear explosion. Glasses have a reliable construction made with considerable margin of safety. Lenses frames are made by lathe method and glasses body has a thoughtful anatomic design. Plastic earmuffs are provided to enhance wearing comfort. Protection of eyes against NIR is achieved by absorption of light pulse energy by photochromic and infrared light filters.
The body of glasses is made of rubber. It is made with bends on sides towards the face and equipped with a ventilation device with labyrinth channels, excluding direct ingress of light and small particles into the hypodermic space. The goggles are held on the head by a size-adjustable rubber headband, which is attached to the body with plastic earpieces.
Design of goggles provides sufficient comfort of work with all types of small arms and equipment, it allows to perform aiming fire from small arms and to look through optical devices.
Spectacles are stored and transported in a special plastic case. The case has a body with a latch, a hinged lid with a gort and a belt loop.
OHP glasses delivery set includes:

Glasses are selected according to the size indicated by a moulded figure in a circle on the glasses' body. The required size is chosen by measuring the width of the face - the distance between the most prominent points of zygomatic bones. With face width up to 135 mm glasses of the first size are used, and above 135 mm - the second size.
The marking is applied on the front (front) surface of the glasses body between the filter units in the form of a convex impression in which the size of glasses is indicated by a number.
The materials used in the manufacture of goggles enable their disinfection, decontamination and decontamination treatment.
Attention! When using goggles the following limitations must be taken into account: protective goggles limit the field of vision; the presence of coloured filters may slightly distort perception of weak color signals; change of light flux characteristics by the light filter unit leads to reduction of functional capabilities of eyes and to some limitation of professional activity in twilight and especially at night.
