These Original Lionel Roadbed Sections were part of a large Vintage Standard Gauge Layout / Railroad that was build years ago in the Newark, NJ area. The Layout / railroad contained over 100 Vintage Toy Trains and Toy Vehicles 1913-1935.
Item Description:
These hard to find Standard Gauge Roadbed Sections were sold by Lionel during the 1930s. This Oval is ideal to use on a Layout or at Christmas Time around a Christmas Tree. Each Piece of "Silent Track Bed" made of a Rubber material has a center imprint that identifies it as "The Lionel Corporation NY,NY". Overall condition varies from Good to Very Good. Each Piece has Rubber discoloration. Each section has Several Small Nail Holes from its original Layout Mounting. Not only does the Train noise lessen, the Train Track is Also held in place by the Roadbed. This Lot consists of the Following:
