LARGE ORIGINAL CIVIL WAR MAP BATTLE OF CARNIFAX FERRY W. VIRGINIA CAMPAIGN

Up for sale is an original Civil War map of the battlefield of Carnifax Ferry and Gauly River campaign in Western Virginia. These large maps were to accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies 1861 - 1865. The maps indicate both positions of Federal and Confederate troops during the battle, with great detail to the landscape. These were printed by the Julius Bein Co. and measures 29 1/2" x 18 1/2". Age toning throughout with some minor edge wear and small tear on edge by the fold as seen. Still in good condition for framing. This will be shipped in the half fold as originally produced.
