    Description

    Jacket, Flyer's, lightweight.    Nomex.     1978 vintage.    Condition is NEW, unused.    Size X-large - Long.     Green color.     Knit cuffs & waist.     This fire-retardant jacket made its first appearance in 1972 as the CWU (Cold Weather Uniform) 36/P, the summer lightweight version.     The other version, heavier, & meant for winter wear, was the 45/P.     This 36/P jacket is in beautiful, crispy-new condition.
    It is the first style of Nomex flight jacket; a garment that would undergo several slight cosmetic changes over the years.     It is truly superior collector's quality.     Shipped with USPS Priority Mail, w/full insurance coverage, which increases the price of shipping, naturally.    Sorry about the photo quality, as the pics were taken with a  tablet.
