Melissa is a crocheted girl in wearing camouflage with a belt and pockets.
Dan is a crocheted boy wearing camouflage pants and a green t-shirt.
Matt is a knitted boy wearing camouflage.
Rachel is a knitted girl wearing camouflage.
Tucker is a knitted boy in a firefighters uniform.
William is a knitted boy in a blue uniform. His hat says K-9 on it so I guess he is a police dog handler.
Since the pattern is included, you can use it over and over again to adapt to make many different dolls just by changing out your yarn colors. Regular Cascade 220 (not superwash) is the yarn of choice for these dolls since it felts so beautifully. If you want to make larger dolls, you can adjust the pattern to use Cascade 220 Aran with larger needles or hooks or you can go smaller with Cascade 220 Sport and smaller needles or hooks.
You can also use the pattern to make a knitted (or crocheted) non-felted doll if you want to use washable acrylic yarns that can't be felted. Just make sure to use smaller needles or hooks than called for to get a very tight fabric so that the stuffing won't leak out.
