I was handed this rare, hand-block printed Blue Fish Clothing Stock Offering Announcement Flyer, in 1996, in Frenchtown, New Jersey, near where I live.
Blue Fish founder and owner Jennifer Barclay was going public with her company on the Chicago Stock Exchange.
The flyer is in pristine condition. It was stored in an archival sleeve for 25 years. It has no tears, folds or writing on it.
Very few of these hand-made flyers survive, making this a rare and unique piece of ephemera for devotees of Blue Fish Clothing.
The flyer is very much in the style of Blue Fish Clothing's hand-made, hand-blocked garments.
The flyer
is in the shape of a fish. It is on textured bright blue card stock, hand-printed in light blue and silver paint, with a braided gold-colored cord.
It is 9.25” long X 2.75 wide.
The photo shows the front and back of the flyer.

"Blue Fish Clothing Co., the Frenchtown, N.J., company whose upscale, one-of-a-kind hand-printed cotton garb has found a devoted following, is going public.
"The 11-year-old company is conducting a direct public offering to raise at least .5 million and up to million. The price is per share, with a minimum purchase of 100 shares.
"Proceeds will fund expansion plans that include new stores and upgrades of the company's computer systems. May 13 is the closing date for the low end of the offering. ..."
