Description
Two mag pouches used by special forces that attach to their QRV vests. Used by Army Ranger special forces in the 1980's, this set appears to have two variations of the rare ERDL 2 camouflage pattern manufactured from 1979 to 1981 and issued to primarily "members of the Rapid Deployment Force and the USMC (along with some special operations personnel)".One pouch is labeled " Mfg. by Elevated Urban Operations of Florida, Inc. Sarasota, FLA 33578", the other does not have a label.
Each pouch holds three magazines and measures 9 1/2 by 8 1/4 closed.
Pocket dimensions for the left one are 5 inches deep by 2 inches across by 1 inch in depth, with about another inch in depth provided by the foldover flap. This is 127mm x 51mm x 25mm and +25mm flap in metric.
The dimensions for the pockets on the right one are 6 inches deep by 2.5 inches across by 1.25 inch in depth, with about another inch in depth provided by the foldover flap. This is 152mm x 64mm x 32mm and +25mm flap in metric.
I tried to be conservative measuring these so you might be able to stretch these a little bit.
