Map of Yates County has property lot numbers shown.  A history of the county and personal sketches of prominent men are included.
Combination atlas contains maps of all the towns which show the initial and surnames of the property owners as well as location of buildings on the property (farm houses, school houses, churches, mills, blacksmith shops, cemeteries, roads, railroads, proposed railroads, stone quarries, lime kilns, orchards, timber, swamps and creeks).  This would be a valuable asset for genealogy research as it contains a wealth of information within.
A list of the County Officers from the organization of the County in 1823 to 1876.
Business directories for cities, villages and townships of Yates County are included.  Given names, locations, and explicit directions to the business of our patrons are shown as well as the date of settlement and owners nativity.  Quite a valuable resource for those interested in the history and the growth of the county.
Great addition to the collection of a local history buff or agenealogy researcher.
The number of map plates and prints would be worth the investment alone.  All are suitable forframing.  The number of prints is extensive, over 140!
