1903 map: OHIO, 14x22, by Cram, fine; towns & railways, Cuyahoga & Hamilton Cos.Map of
Ohio
This is a large map of the state of Ohio, from an edition of
Cram's Atlas
which was
published in 1903
. It is well over a century old. The map is in printed in attractive color, on a sheet measuring 14 x 22 inches in size, while the image measures is 13 x 20 inches.
The page is in excellent condition. Hundreds of towns throughout Ohio are named, and numerous railroad lines criss-crossing the state are identified. The map is drawn with a scale of one inch equalling approximately 16 miles.
It also includes inset maps of
“Cleveland and Vicinity,”
(showing Cuyahoga County)
and
“Map of Hamilton County Ohio.”
The reverse side of the sheet has an extensive list of locations throughout the state, with populations for many towns, including lots with some of them as small as having under 100 residents. However, this listing is only part of what was a larger roster of Ohio towns, and it only shows those with names beginning with letters from part of the alphabet: it goes from Hull [population 24], in Athens County, to Southworth [pop. 57] in Allen County.)
It will be shipped folded once, as originally published.
